55-year-old patient with a two-decade history of hair loss. Starting at age 40, he tried various treatments with marginal success. Life stressors in his early 50s lead to accelerated hair loss prompting him to seek out more permanent hair restoration options. Upon presentation to the AlviArmani Beverly Hills surgical center he was an early Norwood 5 with advancing loss. The patient a sufficient number of grafts in the donor area, making him a great candidate.

A staged procedure was performed to optimize results and for donor preservation given the recent acceleration in hair loss.

After the first procedure the patient had good growth in the frontal zones at one year and was ready to discuss his second hair transplant.
